These days, it seems like foodservice is a part of just about EVERY industry. From convenience stores to movie theaters, bowling alleys to car dealerships, more and more industries are embracing the desire to eat all the time! For us, this means a lot more trade shows to attend, including the 2017 National Association of College and University Food Services Conference in Nashville this July. This is our first time attending this conference and we’re excited to explore a new segment to see how our unique ventless equipment can help universities and college campuses in foodservice. What is the NACUFS National Conference?
The National Association of College and University Food Services comes together each year to bring industry professionals together for a four day educational networking event. The goal of the event is to learn from one another and walk away with new ideas for taking campus food services to the next level. This event includes an impressive lineup of educational sessions, industry showcase and fun networking-focused events. From start to finish, the NACUFS team has assembled an event that is sure to engage and inform attendees on what the latest trends are in foodservice and how they can best be implimented into a college or university setting.
Who attends the NACUFS National Conference?
This conference is attended annually by professionals in the college and university foodservice fields. From buyers, to F&B directors, to chefs and everyone in-between, this show encompasses every aspect of foodservice within the college and university realm.
Why do you attend this show?
While many college campuses do have fully established kitchens already churning out oven baked and fried items, we’ve found that many locations are expanding their foodservice areas into locations on campus that may not already have hoods and ventilation installed. Our ventless lineup of cooking equipment is the perfect match for institutions of higher education looking to add food without the hassle of hood installation. We’re looking forward to networking with the movers and shakers of this field and providing unique solutions to common foodservice roadblocks.
