Industry Spotlight: Bar and Club Foodservice Made Easy

If you've ever watched the show, Bar Rescue, you know that the main goal of industry expert, Jon Taffer, is always to make as much money as possible. And you don't have to be a bar in need of rescue to feel like that should ultimately be your goal as well.  With 30 years in the business, Taffer is an excellent resource to learn from and his number one piece of advice is to produce reactions, not products. One way to create an instant reaction is with a stellar bar food menu. Of course food can be an intimidating addition if you're not familiar with the foodservice industry, so today we will highlight the ways in which AutoFry and MultiChef are the perfect fit for an easy transition into foodservice!

Forget Hoods and Venting

BlueRibbonIcon.pngOne big barrier for getting into the foodservice business for many bar and club owners is not having a full scale kitchen to work in. Whether the space is unavailable or you just can't afford the renovations required to build out an entire kitchen, we've got you covered. Both AutoFry, ventless fryer, and MultiChef, high speed oven, are able to operate without the need of a hood or vent system. This means you can place our equipment anywhere!

Many bars like to place their equipment in the front of house and show off the food being cooked for patrons, while others keep it behind the scenes. Best of all, our equipment is available in countertop and floor models so you really can customize it to fit the needs of your location.

Building Your Menu

QualityIcon.pngFor those new to the foodservice industry, making a menu can seem like a huge undertaking. One huge advantage to both AutoFry and MultiChef is that you can create an entire menu with either machine or an even bigger menu if you decide to work with both. Our AutoFry-only menu can be downloaded here and it features fan favorites like burgers, chicken wings and fish and chips! Our MultiChef-only menu can be downloaded here and it features menu items like grilled cheeses, crab rangoons and pizza! Between these two machines there is no need for any additional cooking equipment!

One piece of advice Taffer gives for menu making, in a article in LAWeekly, is to highlight and promote your highest profit margin items. Again, the name of the game is to make more money! Taffer suggests placing a box around your best profit item and a shadow box on the second highest profit item. These subtle design tweaks can increase sales by up to 20% instantly!

Keeping Employees Safe

SafetyIcon.pngWhen you're just getting into the food service industry, one fear many operators have is for the safety of their employees. Because your business is already established, it's possible your employees are completely unfamiliar with foodservice and cooking can be intimidating. With this in mind, we've built equipment that keeps safety as a top priority.

Our ventless deep fryer, AutoFry, is the safest a fryer can be. Because it's fully enclosed your employees can deep fry without ever coming in contact with hot oil. And because it's fully automated, they don't have to worry about watching the food cook to ensure it doesn't burn! AutoFry acts as your own personal fry cook and takes the danger out of frying. Plus with a built in ANSUL fire suppression system, there really is no safer frying option on the market.
