They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and when it comes to cstore foodservice, nothing could be more true.
Over half (55%) of consumers buy cstore breakfast items at least once a month, according to Technomic’s October 2016 C-Store Market Intelligence Report. This is certainly not something to be ignored if you plan to be a successful convenience store in 2018!
With that in mind, today we have an easy breakfast recipe that’s perfect for the cstore audience: Pancake poppers, made in our high speed over, MultiChef!
Pancake poppers make the perfect breakfast item for any cstore or quick serve operation because they’re both easy and quick to make. Additionally, since most cstore and QSR customers are on the go, these bite sized breakfast goodies appeal to customers as they are easy to eat while on the move!
Best of all, because our base pancake mix comes from rebate partner, Golden Dipt, you can SAVE $250 when you add this item to your menu! Check out our rebate page for full details on how Golden Dipt’s rebate works and to see other great rebate partners.
Add water to your Golden Dipt® Buttermilk Pancake Mix per Golden Dipt’s instructions. NOTE: Pancake batter can be made up to 12 hours in advance and refrigerated for easy baking throughout the morning daypart!
Pour batter into mini muffin tins. Fill about 3/4 of the muffin cups with batter.
Add a few pieces of fruit, chopped sausage, bacon, or chocolate to each batter filled muffin cup.
Place on the middle rack of your MultiChef oven set to 460 degrees, with browning turned OFF and fan speed set to HIGH.
