Compact, efficient, and highly profitable, kiosks provide a streamlined way to serve hungry guests without the overhead of a full-sized restaurant. But in order to truly conquer this foodservice model, operators need two things: a winning menu and reliable, efficient kitchen equipment. That’s where [AutoFry®](http://www.autofry.com) comes in. **Why Kiosks Work** Kiosks succeed because they capitalize on: - **Convenience** – Guests get fast, hot food right where they are. - **Low overhead** – Smaller spaces and fewer staff mean lower costs. - **High versatility** – Operators can rotate menu items seasonally or tailor offerings to their environment. But to maximize profitability, kiosks need equipment that works *with* their limitations, not against them. **The AutoFry Advantage** AutoFry is a self-contained, ventless deep fryer that’s electric and fully automated, making it a perfect match for kiosks. Its unique features help overcome the challenges of small-space operations: - **Electric Powered** – Easy to install, no gas lines required. - **Ventless Design** – No costly hood system or expensive ventilation setup needed. - **Automated Operation** – Fully enclosed and safe to use, with automatic basket lowering and raising. - **Compact Flexibility** – Available in countertop and floor models to fit a kiosk’s footprint. With AutoFry, even a two-person kiosk team can serve crispy, consistent fried favorites without a full kitchen build out. **Real-World Example: Tequesitos![![Tequesitos Kiosk with AutoFry](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Tequesitos%20Kiosk%20with%20AutoFry.png?width=473&height=266&name=Tequesitos%20Kiosk%20with%20AutoFry.png)](https://tequesitos.com/)** One shining example of kiosk success with AutoFry is [Tequesitos!](https://tequesitos.com/), a brand that has mastered the art of serving hot, craveable bites in high traffic locations. Known for their Venezuelan inspired cheese sticks and stuffed treats, Tequesitos! uses AutoFry to consistently deliver fried snacks that are both delicious and portable. Part of why their kiosks thrive is because AutoFry allows them to: - Operate without a hood system in mall and airport environments. - Offer a menu that’s quick to execute and appeals to guests of all ages. - Keep food quality consistent, even during peak rush times. Tequesitos! proves that with the right equipment and menu strategy, kiosks can scale into a recognizable brand with loyal fans. **Building a Great Kiosk Menu** The key to kiosk success is offering foods that are craveable, portable, and quick to prepare. Fried items are the perfect fit, easy to execute, widely loved, and highly profitable. **Menu Ideas for Kiosk Success** - **Loaded Fries Varieties[![Mozz Sticks with AutoFfry](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Mozz%20Sticks%20with%20AutoFfry.png?width=413&height=413&name=Mozz%20Sticks%20with%20AutoFfry.png)](http://www.autofry.com)** - *Greek Style*: Fries topped with feta, olives, tomato, and tzatziki. - *Buffalo Chicken*: Crispy fries with diced chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch drizzle. - **Finger-Friendly Favorites** - Mozzarella sticks - Onion rings - Jalapeño poppers - Chicken tenders - **Snackable Sandwiches & Wraps** - Crispy chicken sandwich with bacon - Mini fried fish tacos with tartar sauce - Fried tofu and veggies wrap for a plant-based option - **Sweet Treats** - Beignets - Funnel cake fries - Churros bites with chocolate dipping sauce These items are not only crowd-pleasers but also quick to prepare and easy to package for on-the-go enjoyment. **Recipe for Long-Term Success** When paired with a strong location and smart menu design, kiosk operators who use AutoFry benefit from: - Lower startup costs (no hood or gas installation). - Higher consistency and safety with automated operation. - Menu flexibility to serve everything from savory snacks to indulgent desserts. - Reliability and support from equipment built for high-volume environments. **Bottom line:** Kiosks ay be small, but their potential is mighty.
