Get ready ladies and gents, it is that magical time of year again! That’s right, it is International Beer Day, and we are ready to celebrate with a few of our favorite killer beer and food combos. Here, at MTI we love creating tasty menu items that pair with some of our favorite beers and we can’t wait to share them all with you!
Take a look at our list below and try these combinations out for yourself. You won’t be able to resist adding them to your menu!
Amber Ale & Jamaican Jerk Flatbread
If Amber is the color of your energy, then this is the beer for you! Amber Ale combines notes of malt and caramel, and ends with a dry finish, making it the ideal pallet cleanser. We love pairing this beer with some spicier fare, like our Jamaican Jerk Flatbread from our line of MultiChef ovens. Grilled chicken, coated in a fiery Jerk marinade, meets creamy mozzarella and diced peppers, onions, and tomatoes on top of a crispy crust for a flavor punch like no other. Keep the Amber Ale on tap and ready to go for this Five-Alarm flatbread!
Light Lager & Crispy Fish Tacos
The refreshing crispness of a light lager makes it the perfect pairing for fried food, especially fried fish. Crunchy, beer-battered Halibut, fresh from the AutoFry is placed in a white corn tortilla that has been warmed in the MultiChef XS or XLT and topped with a pineapple and mango salsa. Kick it up a notch and add a side of tortilla chips.
Irish Stout & Rocky Road Eggrolls
This easy, semi-homemade dessert pairs just right with a dark Irish Stout. We fill our eggroll wrappers with premade fudge brownie pieces, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts. Seal them tightly with egg wash and then deep-fry them to ooey-gooey perfection in the AutoFry. Before we serve these crispy bits of heaven, we hit them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to send it over the top!
Now, don't just read about these killer combos, try them out for yourself and get them on your menu ASAP! Don't forget to check us out at the Craft Brewers Conference at Booth #833, September 9th - September 12th.
