We’re headed to HOST. Every two years something special comes along to the MTI events lineup. We do a ton of national and regional trade shows throughout the year, but every other year we have the chance to attend something on a global scale. In just a month we will be headed out to Milan, Italy for the world’s leading expo for food service, HOST.
HOST is one of the largest expos we attend, covering all segments of food service in hotels, restaurants, cafés, retail and hospitality. Held in Milan, Italy every two years, this massive event boasts 1,800 exhibitors across 14 halls in 2015 – a staggering 12% increase from two years ago. Additionally the event attracts 1,500 registered buyers and 135,000 professionals from across the globe.
We, of course, will be located in the food service equipment hall of the expo. You can find us in pavilion 2, stand G03, in our newly design trade show booth! We’ll be serving up fries, pizza and more, showing off our two best assets: the AutoFry ventless deep fryer and MultiChef high speed oven. We’ve also got some new and exciting things to promote at the show, but of course, you’ll have to visit our booth to find out what those things are! Stop by our booth for a chat, free product demos, maybe even a cup of coffee, we can't wait to see you!
In addition to the HOST show, EXPO Milano will also be going on next door. EXPO is a six-month long show focusing on technology and innovation bringing healthy, safe and sufficient food to everyone. A platform for the exchange of ideas and shared solutions on the theme of food, showing each country’s creativity and innovation for a sustainable future. This show gives everyone the opportunity to learn about and taste the world’s best dishes, traditions and environmentally friendly solutions.
So, if you happen to be in Milan next month, we fully expect to see you at HOST. The show runs from October 23-27 and you can even buy passes to allow entry into both HOST and EXPO. Be warned, there is SO much to see, you may want to plan for more than just one day at the fair.
