Jolly and Joyous | Christmas Reflections from MTI

Christmas-2018-Art.png

There’s magic in the air this evening, magic in the air.
The world is at her best, you know, when people love and care.
The promise of excitement is one the night will keep,
after all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas.

I have to admit, I’ve always enjoyed Christmas Eve a bit more than Christmas Day. It’s invariably been a time to celebrate with my whole family (and it’s a big one!) while Christmas Day is more low key, after the initial rush of opening presents, of course. That’s probably why I love this song so much as one of the ONLY Christmas Eve-specific songs out there. It touches on every wonderful feeling of Christmas without having to be over the top.

If you’ve not heard this song before, I probably should mention that it’s sung by a frog….

Well not just any frog, Kermit THE Frog, and it’s part of Jim Henson’s A Muppet Christmas Carol, a story we’re all familiar with, that continues to stay relevant throughout the decades.

I’m sure you’re asking yourself, how does any of this tie back into deep fryers and ovens? And the truth is, it doesn’t. Because at MTI we’re more than just manufacturers of ventless kitchen equipment.  We’re a team of hardworking individuals that strive to make every customer experience a positive one. From sales to customer service and even in our factory – each employee here exemplifies the spirit of this Christmas song and the season.

The world has got a smile today, the world has got a glow.
There's no such thing as strangers when a stranger says "hello!”
And everyone is family, we're having so much fun,
after all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas.

At MTI we really do believe that everyone is family. We genuinely care about the success of our customers' businesses and their ability to grow with the equipment we’ve produced for them. Our sales team works hard to make sure every sale sets a customer up for success. Nothing is better than attending a tradeshow and seeing a familiar face stop by our booth to say hello and tell us how their business doing since adding our equipment to their lineup.

Tis the season to be jolly and joyous,
with a burst of pleasure, we feel it all right.
Tis the season when the saints can employ us
to spread the news about peace and to keep love alive.

Our service team is hands down the friendliest and most customer centric that you’ll find anywhere. When you call for service at MTI, you talk to a real person, who has real extensive knowledge about the machine you’re calling on. From training programs to assistance when something stops operating 100%, our service team is always available to get a customer’s machine back up and running. Because let’s be honest, you can’t really be jolly or joyous with a machine down!

So for this pre-Christmas blog, I thought that instead of focusing on our products, I’d put the focus on the people behind the brand. Because we’re all wishing you the most joy filled season. We’re hoping that you’ll join us in keeping love alive this Christmas and the year ahead. That you may find that magic in the air and share that feeling with others. Whether it’s through a cheery disposition or the tasty food you prepare for your guests, we can all do our part to spread that Christmas feeling of love.

There's something in the wind today that's good for everyone.
Yes, faith is in our hearts today, we're shining like the sun.
And everyone can feel it, the feeling's running deep,
after all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas.

After all, there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas day.

Merry Christmas from your Friends at Motion Technology, Inc.
