Long gone are the days when a casino was just a hall for gambling, having a drink and chain smoking cigarettes. And while you can still do all three of those things at many gaming centers, the entertainment industry has moved far beyond just making profits from alcohol and betting.
Foodservice is one of the most profitable areas of additional revenue that a gaming center can take on. In fact, recent data shows that on average Food and Beverage account for almost a quarter of total revenue at Vegas casinos. Which all leads us to the announcement that for the first time, we will be attending the Global Gaming Expo this fall at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
What is the Global Gaming Expo?
The Global Gaming Expo, or more commonly known as, G2E Show, is the premier show of the casino-entertainment industry. Hosted by the American Gaming Association, G2E highlights new technology, games, services and products applicable to this fast paced industry. This event includes an impressive lineup of educational sessions, industry showcase and fun networking-focused events. Not to mention, with the casino-entertainment industry at the forefront, its fair to say that the G2E show is more fun than your average trade show.
Who attends the G2E Show?
With average attendance of nearly 26,000 gaming professionals, you can expect to see a wide variety of attendees at this show. At the heart of it, this show attracts gaming industry professionals—executives, corporate management, and other leaders from the casino, gaming, cruise ship, lottery, racino, resort and riverboat industries. Included in that mix, you’ll see exhibitors covering all aspects of the gaming and entertainment industry!
Why do you attend this show?
While the gaming and entertainment industry might not sound like a natural fit for our ventless kitchen equipment, AutoFry and MultiChef actually play a great roll in just about any industry! And while many casinos already have full scale dining operations, some may still be looking to expand into some more casual dining options. Enter AutoFry as the easiest option for frying without extensive training or installation.
