What is NRA?
The National Restaurant Association's yearly trade show takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, this May 19-22. Bringing over 45,000 foodservice industry professionals, 2,000 foodservice companies and countless industry experts all together under one roof making an international foodservice marketplace. NRA is not only a great place to discover new foodservice innovation but also a great place to learn from the leaders and experts of the industry at one of the many educational sessions available.
Who attends the NRA trade show?
The NRA show is open to those who work in the restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industries. Attracting attendees from across the globe, it's perfect for any type of foodservice owner, operator or management staff looking to learn more about their industry, see the next in innovative products and network with the right people. For bar owners and operators there is also the the Beverage Alcohol for Restaurants portion of the show which simultaneously takes place May 20-21!
Why do we attend this show?
For us, the NRA show is a excellent opportunity to connect with a large group of potential foodservice innovators. This year, NRA gives us the perfect audience to introduce a new wave of ventless technology. If you attend here are some tips:
Bring comfy shoes, this show is HUGE and your feet are going to feel it! The NRA website suggests planning on at least two days to see the entire show floor, if that feels like too much walking, plan on mapping our the booths and events you want to see most and make your way through those stops only! Also, don't forget to check the educational session schedule, some of the sessions fill fast, so you're best bet is to show up early!
