Compact, fully enclosed, automated, and self-venting, the AutoFry allows establishments to serve up crispy favorites—without the need for a hood system or additional staffing. But beyond convenience, the real magic is in the **ROI**. **Investing in AutoFry[![Adding Fries to AutoFry Chute](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Adding%20Fries%20to%20AutoFry%20Chute.png?width=294&height=294&name=Adding%20Fries%20to%20AutoFry%20Chute.png)](http://www.autofry.com)** Purchasing an AutoFry means more than just adding a fryer—it’s about **unlocking new menu potential**, **increasing ticket size**, and **driving higher margins**. Here’s how: **Why AutoFry Pays Off** - ✅ **No hood system required** – Saves tens of thousands in renovation costs. - ✅ **Minimal labor needed** – Fully automated system allows staff to multi-task. - ✅ **Expands menu options** – Fries, wings, mozzarella sticks, churros, onion rings & more. - ✅ **Quality Consistency**– Satisfied guests keep coming back for more. - ✅ **High-margin food** – Fried items typically yield 60-70% profit margins. - ✅ **Increased average order value** – Add-ons like fries or nuggets can boost checks by $3–$7 per order. **ROI Example: Hank’s Franks – Lodi, NJ** For over 50 years, [**Hank’s Franks**](https://www.facebook.com/p/Hanks-Franks-100063483943550/) has been a staple in Lodi, New Jersey, famous for its hot dogs and no-nonsense charm. Gary Benanti looking to modernize the menu without altering the nostalgic charm (or retro kitchen layout), turned to AutoFry. ***The AutoFry Effect*** 1. **Avoid hood/ventilation costs** Hank's Franks was able to avoid purchasing a traditional open fryer and hood system which may have cost up to $60,000.00 or more. 1. **Operate in any space** With a wide range of sizes, there is an AutoFry for every space. Hank's Franks found the perfect model to fit a particular area of the kitchen that was designated for a new fryer.[![Hanks Franks T-Shirt](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Hanks%20Franks%20T-Shirt.png?width=294&height=294&name=Hanks%20Franks%20T-Shirt.png)](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/autofry-customer-spotlight-hanks-franks) 1. **Increase foot traffic with promotions** The Hank's Franks team thoroughly promoted the addition of French fries to their menu. This included social media posts, and even a t-shirt.   1. **Expand food offerings** Hank's Franks was able to utilize fries in more than one capacity with existing ingredients. By topping fries with the same chili and cheese used on their Chili Cheese Dogs, Benanti creates an upsell opportunity without having to invest in additional food inventory. *"We are VERY happy with our investment!"* — Victor Kipiani of Hank’s Franks ***Menu Ideas to Maximize AutoFry ROI*** Use AutoFry to introduce crowd-pleasing comfort food and innovative seasonal specials. Here are some profitable and easy-to-execute options: **Core Favorites** - French Fries  - Chicken Tenders - Mozzarella Sticks - Onion Rings - Jalapeño Poppers[![AutoFry with Churros](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AutoFry%20with%20Churros.png?width=323&height=323&name=AutoFry%20with%20Churros.png)](http://www.autofry.com) **Sweet Treats** - Fried Oreos - Churros - Funnel Cake Fries - Apple Pie Bites **Creative Combos & Upsells** - “Loaded Fries” with cheese, bacon & ranch - Snack Sampler Platters - Kid’s Fried Snack Box - Side of Fries with Any Sandwich or Hot Dog  ***Bottom Line*** An AutoFry isn’t just equipment—it’s a revenue driver. Whether you’re a hot dog stand like **Hank’s Franks**, a pizza shop looking to diversify, or a brewery with limited kitchen space, AutoFry delivers serious returns without serious hassle.
