Here we are at the start of another year. Across the country people have made their New Year resolutions, with every intention to see them through. Promises to swear off smoking and to spend less on items we don’t need can be difficult to commit to. And then there is the most notorious New Year resolution of them all. Its the resolution that hits almost every household, the resolution to eat healthier.
January is a crucial time for restaurants. Both fast casuals and full serve establishments must make menu changes to not only cater to the health driven diners' need for low calorie, but to also excite their taste buds at the same time. Just because they are eating food that is better for them doesn’t mean they can’t also enjoy it!
Now, adding to a menu can at times be troublesome. Deciding on the dishes and how they will be prepared might cause a bit of a road block for some restaurants. At Motion technology Inc., we know how important it is for businesses to have the right products to assist chefs and owners in these types of seasonal changes. Our high-speed oven, the MultiChef XL is the perfect product to help prepare a variety of healthy menu options to accommodate the resolution driven patrons. Our oven can do it all! The MultiChef XL can bake lean, boneless proteins like pork and chicken, or roast and steam fresh veggies like carrots and asparagus! In just minutes the kitchen can provide lighter menu options to the health-conscious clientele.
One of the best things about adding healthier options to a menu is that most of the components that go into the dishes are simple ingredients that can be utilized in multiple different ways. This helps save on waste and costs, which essentially helps protect an owner or operator’s bottom line. Chicken, for example is a great product that can be used multiple different ways for a variety of recipes. Whether it is prepared with a delicious marinade or rub and served with seasonal vegetables, or roasted and diced to incorporate into a fresh chicken salad, chicken is the definition of versatile. By preparing it all in the MultiChef XL businesses will have consistent results in no time at all. But hey, don’t just take our word for it, check out our roasted, boneless chicken breast recipe below and try it out!
