![AutoFry Customer Spotlight - Federal Fritter Final](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AutoFry%20Customer%20Spotlight%20-%20Federal%20Fritter%20Final.png?width=760&name=AutoFry%20Customer%20Spotlight%20-%20Federal%20Fritter%20Final.png)

If you ever find yourself in the area of Rehoboth, Delaware, you simply must make your way to [Federal Fritter](https://www.federalfritter.com/). This *restaurant within a restaurant* is serving up hot and tasty fritters that are packed full of flavor & love, and keep you coming back for more! Wait, what’s that? You’ve never heard of a fritter? Well, crawl on out from that rock you’ve been living under, and let us give you the rundown.

Fritters can be described as deliciously deep fried, handheld snacks, appetizers or desserts that consist of various ingredients, such as dough, meats, vegetables, or fruits. They can be served with dipping sauces on the side, or on their own. No matter how you decide to consume them, you will not be disappointed.

Owners Chef Todd Gray and Ellen Kassoff perfected the art of fritter making at their acclaimed [Equinox Restaurant](https://www.equinoxrestaurant.com/) in Washington DC, where their risotto fritter still remains a menu favorite. Since![Federal Fritters Packaging](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Federal%20Fritters%20Packaging.jpg?width=286&name=Federal%20Fritters%20Packaging.jpg) then, that one menu item has grown into its own, separate establishment, Federal Fritter, and has been blessing locals and tourists alike with their delectable delights since February of 2021. Whether you are strolling down the boardwalk or settling in for a cozy night on the couch, these fritters are for you!

Now, what kind of fritters are they frying up at 62A Rehoboth Avenue? There’s the classic Parmesan Risotto, perfect for those experiencing the magic of fritters for the first time. Then there is the Crispy Virginia Oyster, served with a sesame tahini, an excellent choice for the more adventurous diners. And of course, you can’t forget dessert! The Apple Pie fritter is the perfect sweet treat. Whether you are 5 or 95, there is no resisting this piece of reimagined nostalgia.

So, the next time you are in, or driving through Rehoboth, take a quick detour to Federal Fritter. Heck, even if you are not driving through, add this place to your food destinations bucket list and treat yourself to some deep fried goodness!
