Thinking Outside the Bun Published by [Danielle Fantasia](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/author/danielle-fantasia) on Apr 16, 2021 9:30:00 AM [![Fried Chicken Fun_ Thinking Outside the Bun](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Fried%20Chicken%20Fun_%20Thinking%20Outside%20the%20Bun.png?width=1500&name=Fried%20Chicken%20Fun_%20Thinking%20Outside%20the%20Bun.png)](http://www.mtiproducts.com) It isn’t hard to be a lover of fried chicken. From the gloriously crispy, crunchy outside to the juicy tender inside, how could you not fall victim to its allure?! Fried chicken is one of those things that brings people together. It is more than just a food, it is a symbol of comfort and love that transcends time, and distance. Embedding itself within cultures, and  leaving a lasting mark on generation after generation. Look, we know the whole world is talking about the Fried Chicken Sandwich War, but fried chicken can be so much more! So many other fun options, you just have to be willing to think outside the bun. Take a look below at some of the ways we like to serve up fried chicken, and we promise, you won’t be disappointed! **Crispy Chicken & Spicy Queso Quesadilla[![chicken quesadilla](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/chicken%20quesadilla.jpg?width=224&name=chicken%20quesadilla.jpg)](http://www.multichef.com)** This quesadilla really packs a punch! The crunchy fried chicken adds the perfect amount of texture to the creaminess of the queso. Serve this bad boy up with fresh salsa, guacamole, and sour cream to help offset the spice. Perfect for any appetizer menu. **Chicken Parmesan Flatbread Pizza** We know, Chicken Parmesan is an Italian institution that should not be messed with…but we like to get a little crazy! We think our Italian ancestors would love how we brought together two time-tested favorites and made them into one mind-blowing experience of melty mozzarella and crunchy breaded chicken. Whether this is an appetizer at a bar or a staple for a pizza shop, customers are sure to love it. [![Chicken & Waffle Cone](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Chicken%20%26%20Waffle%20Cone.png?width=213&name=Chicken%20%26%20Waffle%20Cone.png)](http://www.autofry.com) **Chicken & Waffle Cone** This twist on a southern classic is just what every kids’ menu...and brewery menu needs! Take a good ole fashion waffle cone, preferably the largest one you can find, and load it up with perfectly prepared boneless fried chicken bites. Drizzle with anything from BBQ sauce to maple syrup and everything in between. Who knew it was that easy to create such an Instagramable menu item? Hungry for more?
