Fresh Start: Satisfying Seafood for 2020

MultiChef XL Shrimp

Here we are on the doorstep of a brand-new year. All over the country and even the world, people are setting goals with health and heart in mind and doing their very best to see them through. Businesses like quick and full-service restaurants, as well hotels and even convenience stores can all implement healthier items to their menus to satisfy their customers need for nutritious options.

At Motion Technology, Inc., we love creating delicious dishes that are also good for you! There is nothing better than filling your hungry tummy with food that doesn’t just taste good, it makes you feel good too! So, we decided to share one of our favorite MultiChef XL seafood recipes to kick off our fresh start for 2020.

Our high-speed oven can cook everything from fresh to frozen products by using a combination of impinged air, convection and microwave, delivering high quality results every time. Whether you want to roast, toast or bake, the MultiChef XL has you covered, turning any business into a food service force to be reckoned with. 

Check out our recipe below, then test it out yourself and see what all the fuss is about.

Very Veggie Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:

4 oz Raw Shrimp (5-6 Jumbo, 8-9 Medium)  

½ Yellow Pepper, Cut into StripsMultiChef XL Shrimp Scampi

½ Red Pepper, Cut into Strips

1-2 Cups Precooked Zucchini Noodles

4 Tbsp Olive Oil

3 Tsp Salt

3 Tsp Ground Pepper

1-2 Tbsp White Wine

1 Clove of Garlic, Chopped

1-2 Tbsp Sweet Onion, Chopped

½ Tbsp Fresh Parsley, Chopped

1 Tsp Dried Oregano

1 Tsp Dried Basil

Instructions:

In a sealable bag, combine shrimp with 2 tbsp of olive oil, 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp ground pepper, white wine, garlic, onion, oregano, basil and parsley and shake until shrimp is completely coated with oil and seasonings.

Place Shrimp onto the griddle pan. Then, using your pizza peel, insert the griddle pan into MultiChef XL.

Select the pre-programmed Raw Shrimp recipe.

When the timer sounds, carefully remove your griddle pan.

In a separate sealable bag combine peppers with remaining olive oil, salt and pepper and shake until fully coated.

Place peppers onto the griddle pan. Then, using your pizza peel, insert the griddle pan into the MultiChef XL.

Select the pre-programmed Roasted Peppers Recipe.

When the timer sounds, carefully remove your griddle pan.

Place your precooked zucchini noodles onto the griddle pan.

Add salt and pepper to zucchini noodles.

Using the pizza peel, insert griddle pan into the MultiChef XL.

Select the pre-programmed Manual Cook option that uses 50/50 Microwave and Convection/Forced Air for 40 seconds.

When the timer sounds, carefully remove your griddle pan.

This ENTIRE MEAL only takes 4 Minutes and 45 Seconds to cook! 

Shrimp - 1 Minute 35 Seconds

Peppers - 2 Minutes 30 Seconds

Zucchini Noodles -  40 Seconds

Time to plate!

Place your zucchini noodles down on your plate first.

Next top it with your shrimp and then your peppers.

Now you are ready to serve!
