Happy National Snack Food Month

Did you know that February is National Snack Food Month? That’s right, an entire month dedicated to everything we love to eat in between meals. At Motion Technology, Inc. we like to think of ourselves as experts on the subject of snacking. Our ventless kitchen equipment can prepare everything from French fries and nachos to a bit more creative items like BBQ chicken quesadillas or deep-fried PB & J’s. Seriously, the snacking possibilities are practically endless!

In honor of National Snack Food Month, we are sharing one of our favorite recipes, LOADED BUFFALO CHICKEN TOTS! This super easy and super delicious recipe calls for both the power of the AutoFry® and MultiChef XL™, and only takes minutes to put together.

Now, don’t just take our word for it. Take a look at the recipe below and test it out for yourself. We promise your customers will not be disappointed.

Ingredients

1 Cup Diced White Meat Chicken (Previously prepared in the MultiChef XL)Tatertots

2 Cups Frozen Tater Tots (We recommend McCain Brand)

1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

½ Cup Buffalo Sauce

2 Tbsp. Chopped Green Onion

1/3 Cup of Bacon Bits

¼ Cup Blue Cheese Dressing

 

Instructions

  • Place frozen tater tots in the AutoFry entry chute
  • Close entry chute, dumping the tots into the fryer basket
  • Input 3-minute cook time and press start
  • When the tater tots have finished cooking, they will dispense from the exit chute of the AutoFry
  • Place finished tots on the Solid Teflon Pan for the MultiChef XL.
  • Place diced chicken in a separate bowl and toss in buffalo sauce
  • Once generously coated in buffalo sauce, load your chicken onto your fully fried tater tots
  • Layer your cheddar cheese on top of the shredded chicken
  • Using your pizza peel, insert the Solid Teflon Pan into the MultiChef XL
  • Select the pre-programmed recipe for nachos.
  • After 30 second the timer will sound
  • Using your pizza peel, remove the Solid Teflon Pan
  • Top with chopped green onion and bacon bits
  • Drizzle with blue cheese dressing
  • Serve it up!
