Over the next seven years the global FEC industry is expected to reach [$69.55 billion](https://www.globenewswire.com/en/news-release/2022/05/12/2441872/28124/en/Global-Family-Indoor-Entertainment-Centers-Market-to-2030-Opportunity-Analysis-and-Industry-Forecasts.html), and undoubtedly foodservice will play a vital role in that growth. The time to start planning for the future is now! Take a look below at some of our 2023 predictions and let us help you prepare for what’s to come. **Social Sensations** More now than ever, people are looking for food that not only tastes phenomenal, but looks phenomenal in a photo or video. Today, when people are deciding on where they want to eat they are looking towards Instagram and TikTok for inspiration. They see a post from a friend or a family member, or reel from an influencer or celebrity, and it can really sway their dining decisions. Bottom line, aesthetics are equally as important as flavor! **Automated Labor** It is no secret that many industries, especially within the foodservice sector, have faced extreme difficulties in regard to finding and retaining staff. This has resulted in the need for reliable, automated kitchen solutions. Automatic, [ventless](https://blog.mtiproducts.com/food-for-thought-what-is-ventless-technology)deep-fryers like the [AutoFry](http://www.autofry.com) do the work of a fry cook for you! AutoFry will shake and dispense fried food just like an actual person. Say *Goodbye* to those hiring woes and *Hello* to your new favorite employee! **Adults Only** Look, we know that Family Entertainment Centers are meant for kids. But that doesn’t mean there can’t be something special for adults! Alcohol infused foods have been steadily climbing in popularity and provide another layer of fun for those over the age of 21. An increase in boozy options can broaden your customer base to include a wider range of patrons, creating an environment for adults without children.  You will want to keep these FEC foodservice projections in mind as we make our way through this new year.
