Business decisions in the restaurant industry can be difficult. No ifs, ands or buts about it! Your business is your livelihood and your passion all wrapped up into one, so no choice is taken lightly. There can be no uninformed decisions when it comes to your business, especially with kitchen equipment.
For over three decades the AutoFry® has helped commercial kitchens thrive to their full potential, acting as an additional employee, and delivering on quality and quantity. Conveniently, our ventless deep fryers come in a variety of different sizes, allowing you to choose the one best fit for your establishment. One question we often hear is, Should I purchase a single or a double basket fryer? While we can’t make this decision for you, we can make sure you are fully informed.
Volume is one of the biggest differences between the single and double basket AutoFrys. Our single basket units, the MTI-5 and MTI-10X/XL are great for any type business. From burger joints and pizza shops to breakfast cafes and food trucks, these fully automated machines get the job done. Fry up to 40 lbs. per hour in the MTI-5 and up to 60 lbs. in the MTI-10X/XL. Our double basket fryers, the MTI-40C and MTI-40E are ideal for businesses who need to pump out the fried food in bulk! Multi-unit movie theater chains, family entertainment centers, and campgrounds would all benefit from these heavy-duty fryers. Pump out up to 100 lbs. of product per hour in the MTI-40C and 120 lbs. in the MTI-40E.
Another important factor to consider is the size of your space. Our MTI-5 and MTI-10X are our smaller frying units. Both can sit on a countertop and take up less than 2ft of area. On the larger end, the MTI-40C and MTI-40E require a bit more space. The MTI-40C is also countertop friendly, occupying roughly 3ft of space, while the MTI-40E is a freestanding floor model that takes up about 3ft of width from the floor. Taking those measurements into consideration, you should be able to look at your available space and determine how large or small of a fryer you need.
Did we mention all of our fryers are completely ventless? This means they do not require a hood or vent system, making them much more convenient and affordable than a traditional open fryer.
